Hello everyone! It's been a while!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive and haven't quit photography or DA.

I've just been dealing with my pregnancy and getting ready for the baby! This pregnancy has been difficult for me, and if I'm not resting I'm setting up the nursery or doing the usual housework. Third pregnancy, hypothyroidism, and hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome don't mix well. My biggest issues have been insomnia, horrible fatigue, and very bad joint pain. It will all get better after the baby is born though!

Expect to not see my art for a little while though. Even after I have the baby, it will take a little while to heal and to get used to the new baby. I will be breastfeeding too, so I will have to build a schedule around that as well. I expect to have the baby between the 21st of December and the first week of January. My due date is January 11th, but I'm getting induced at 39 weeks (around January 4th) as long as I don't go into labor before 39 weeks.

I still love photography and can't wait to get back to it. I won't be on DA as often as I used to be, but I will be active weekly or every other week when I'm ready. I have loads of photos to still edit and post! I also have to re-learn DA because everything is so different now. I hope everyone has been doing well!

Hello everyone! I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I've been offline for a while. I haven't posted anything, gone through my notifications, or even really logged in for quite some time. This is probably the longest I've gone in my entire 9 years of being a member here. Well, everything is fine! What happened was, I got pregnant! I'm currently 11 weeks. I'm having a difficult 1st trimester, and have been having a hard time even sitting at my computer or doing much of anything. I wanted you guys to know that I haven't quit DA, I've just not been too well.

Here's a little story on my pregnancy:

This is my 3rd pregnancy, and my first biological child with my husband.

It took us 4 months of trying before we conceived. I have hypothyroidism, and I got pregnant the second my levels got low enough. After I found out I was pregnant, I went to get my TSH tested right away. My levels nearly doubled in 2 weeks (since the last time I was tested). So I'm now on a higher dose, and will be monitored throughout pregnancy.

This is the 1st pregnancy that was planned and while in a happy marriage. My youngest child is currently 9, so it's been about 10 years since I was last pregnant.

The baby is very healthy, strong and fast heartbeat, already moving, and everything is measuring as it should. This is also the sickest and generally worst I've been out of all pregnancies. It's all normal though, and everything checked out great!

I expect to be less active than usual for a while. Once I feel better, I should be on here more. When the baby is born, I expect another break like I've recently had. I'm sure I will take plenty of baby photos though!
